The inventory engraved upon copper — sixty and four hidden caches of temple silver, gold, sacred vessels, scrolls, and tithes, set down in the order in which they were buried.

In the ruin which is in the valley of Achor, under the steps that go up to the east — forty cubits — is a chest of silver, and its vessels: weight of seventeen talents.

In the funerary monument, in the third tier of stones, are an hundred bars of gold.

In the great cistern that is in the court of the peristyle, in the spout of its floor, hidden in a hole over against the upper opening, are nine hundred talents.

On the hill of Kohlit are the offerings of the dedicated wave offerings of the Sabbath, and the offerings of the firstfruits, and the cup of the libation, and tithes of the priests — all in vessels of gold and vessels of silver.

In the cave that is by the brook of Kozeba — at the entrance — are six bars of silver. Within is an offering of nard.

Under the corner of the southern portico, in the tomb of Zadok, beneath the column of the exedra: vessels of resin, garments of the priest, and tithes of the seventh year, gathered for the seventh year, and a scroll of psalms.

In the cistern that is by the eastern gate, at a distance of fifteen cubits, are vessels — and within them, ten talents.

Beneath the great threshold, on the south of the burial-ground, are forty and two talents.

In the holy place of Aaron, beneath the foundation, in the cleft of the rock — three vessels of fine gold, and a chest of writings.

And these are the things that the priests have hidden, and the elders, against the day when they shall be required again. The Lord shall raise up His servant in the latter days; and these things shall be brought forth, and the offerings shall be restored, and the temple shall be cleansed.

In the cave of the column, on the right of the entrance, are silver and incense. In the great cistern of the courtyard of the peristyle, in the spout of its floor, hidden in a hole over against the upper opening: nine hundred talents.

In the channel of waters that goeth from the rock to the holy place, at a distance of one hundred and twenty cubits — beneath the floor — are talents of silver and chests of incense.

In the burial-place of Bnei-ha-Hamat, in the third row of niches, beneath the great stone, are sixty and seven talents.

In the dovecote that is in the wall of Sechakha, on the eastern side, beneath the upper threshold, hidden in a hollow of three cubits, are silver vessels of the offering, and a writing of the order of service.

Beneath the southwest corner of the tower, at the foot of the eastern road, are vessels of incense, garments of fine linen, and seventy talents of silver.

In the channel beneath the threshold of the platform of the high priest, twelve talents of silver and ten of gold.

Beneath the steps in the cleft of the rock, of the cave of Mount Gerizim, are sixty talents of silver, the offerings of the children of the covenant in the days of their banishment.

And in a tunnel near unto it, at the second of three openings, is a copy of this writing, with its commentary and its measurements, and the inventory of every cache, set forth in fullness — that nothing may be lost in the day when the elders shall return.

Glory be unto the Lord of the temple, the keeper of the holy things. May He hasten the day when the things hidden shall be revealed; when the priests shall be cleansed; when the offerings of righteousness shall be restored; and when the house of the Lord shall be filled with His glory once again. Amen.
