Son of God Text
A vision interpreted before a king — affliction shall come upon the earth, but One shall arise who is called the Son of God and the Son of the Most High, and His kingdom shall be everlasting.
1Affliction came upon the earth; and great slaughter; and there was distress among the provinces. The king of Asshur and Egypt shall be… and he shall be great upon the earth.
2All shall serve him; and he shall be called the great one. By his name shall he be designated. He shall be called the Son of God; even the Son of the Most High shall they name him.
3But like the meteors that thou sawest in thy vision, so shall their kingdom be. They shall reign for some years over the earth; they shall trample upon all. People shall trample upon people; and province shall trample upon province.
4Until the people of God shall arise, and shall make all to rest from the sword. Their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom; and all their ways shall be in truth. They shall judge the earth in truth; and all shall make peace. The sword shall cease in the earth; and all the provinces shall do them homage.
5The great God Himself shall be their strength. He shall make war for them. He shall give peoples into their hand. All of them shall be cast down before them. His dominion shall be an everlasting dominion; and all the depths of the earth shall be His.
6Blessed be the name of God Most High, who reigneth from age to age. He establisheth kings; He removeth kings. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion endureth from generation to generation. Amen, and amen.
