The Qumran community’s halakhic letter — addressed to a priestly authority, listing the works of the law in which the community has separated itself from the people: the 364-day calendar, gentile grain offerings, streams of liquid, intermarriage, and other purity rulings. Closes with the exhortation that the addressee may find these words true and reckoned unto him for righteousness. This is the SEER Edition, translated fresh from the Hebrew of Qumran Cave 4 (4Q394–399).
