The Book of Ahkman 1
This composite chapter records the founding of the People of Suran under Ahkman, son of the prophet Suran. An angel corrects Ahkman's inherited idolatry, teaching that the one God heard his sincere prayers though he knew not the true name — the intents of the heart are counted. Jehovah covenants to make his seed as the stars, gives an island inheritance, and declares their temple shall precede and signal His Jerusalem temple. Seven temple rites are established, including baptism as sign of the coming Son of God. Enoch's animal-vision, the four angels, the Elect One enthroned, and the latter-day book that redeems a dark-skinned remnant all surface here. The polygamy chapters (17-21, 35) exemplify the frame's warning: a people receiving much truth yet failing to seek the Spirit's confirmation on this one doctrine — Dinari and Yalime narratives, and the datu concubine-vision, read against the true order of one man and one woman.
