C — Calendars, Liturgies and Prayers
Part 1
A priestly calendar anchors the sacred year to fixed days: Passover falls on the fourteenth, the feast of Unleavened Bread on the fifteenth, and the feast of Grain follows after a Sabbath. The Moedim are not floating observances but are locked to a precise solar reckoning, each feast occupying its appointed day of the week with deliberate regularity. The pattern is covenant architecture — Jehovah's appointed times structured so the community never misses the moment of meeting. The text preserves what the Sadducean and later rabbinic traditions disputed: a solar week anchored calendar governing when Israel stands before God.
