The Book of the Nem — the Mentinah Archives — has been freely available on the open internet for more than fifteen years. Anyone can still find the complete text with a single search today.

Its custodian has said publicly, on the record, that his hope is for "as many people as possible" to read these records, and that the text first reached the public not by any sale but because, in his own words, it "got out" on its own.

And yet, when SEER asked to carry that same freely-circulating text — at no charge, behind no paywall, for serious students of the Restoration — permission was refused. A record its keeper says he wants the whole world to read may, apparently, be read anywhere except here.

We have chosen to honor that refusal rather than contest it. So in place of the text, what follows is entirely our own: original SEER summaries of every book and every chapter of the Nem, drawn from the record’s own narrative and doctrine. They are not the Nem’s words — they are our account of what the Nem says. For the text itself, it remains, as it always has been, only a search away.
