THE BOOK OF HEINMET

Chapter 1
Premium narration
1
Heinmet, son of Pa-Nat and Shi-Pahorat, takes up his mother's record at age seventeen, following the custom of his family to leave a witness and genealogy for posterity. His mother had served as clerk and high priest of Mentina before her death. Writing six generations after Christ's visit, Heinmet attributes the unbroken peace of the Nem to faithful observance of the Laws of the Gospel, Sacrifice, Chastity, and especially Consecration, by which the people refuse riches while their neighbors lack.
2
Constrained by the Spirit, he then prophesies of a latter-day restoration: a small church will receive great gifts but fall under divine condemnation within a single generation for embracing Babylon, and that condemnation will persist six generations. He rebukes future Saints for shepherds who pursue gain, for trusting prophets who ignore prior revelation, for judging the poor, and for destroying children in the womb, urging repentance and hope.
