THE BOOK OF SHIMLEI

Chapter 4
Premium narration
1
Shimlei reflects on his lengthy stewardship as high priest among the Nem of Mentina, acknowledging that his writings are voluminous and that this present book preserves only a portion. He records that the Nem and the People of Corianton have merged under one identity, named after the Comforter Hemenen, meaning People of the Spirit. He prophesies that in the latter days, the remnant of Israel in this land will likewise adopt such a self-designation as a sign.
2
He describes a vast, peaceful dominion stretching from the narrow neck to the arctic north, governed by the order given through Shi-Tugo and Hemen, without kings, without poverty, and without war for generations. He attributes this to the land's covenant blessing and urges future readers to seek the Lord's face directly. He outlines practices for doing so: constant prayer, study of good books, worship, temple endeavors, purity, and care for the poor.
3
He teaches that ordinances—baptism and the Sacrament—are covenant tokens by which one becomes Christ's, joint-heir with Him, sanctified to enter His presence.
