THE BOOK OF SHIONI AKEK
Chapter 14
Premium narration
1
Shioni Akek consoles the Nem, who are grieved by his earlier prophecy of their decline. He explains that though the Nem will slowly dwindle until only scattered villages remain by the time the Gentiles arrive, a small remembrance of their ways will survive. Within a few generations of Gentile arrival, the Lehite remnant will be trampled and absorbed, yet from mingled blood the spirit of Nem will awaken, and a Remnant will rise to establish Zion again.

He teaches that the curse on the land makes Gentile riches slippery, while the Remnant will produce their own sustenance, revere the earth as a mother figure, hold all things in common, and escape the violence around them. He explains how faith moves matter in an eternal round, so good works magnify outward and counter evil globally. He rebukes the latter-day Gentile church for teaching that ordinances and priesthood keys monopolize salvation, dividing rich from poor, and prophesies the Remnant's recovery of the records, the Second Comforter, and true stewardship.
