THE BOOK OF THE HIGH PLACE

Chapter 3
Premium narration
1
After the marriage may be solemnized as part of the earthly covenant, Jehovah invites all present to covenant to seek His face and obey. Adam and Eve are sent out of the sheltered valley into the telestial world, a veil placed between them and the Creator's presence. They are told to build a home and altar and watch for messengers identifiable by their teaching of four sacred directions.
2
In the wider world, Adam constructs an altar and offers sacrifice. An angel explains the offering as a similitude of the Only Begotten's atonement. Satan arrives disguised as a wise elder, sending a Preacher who teaches a bodiless god, eternal hellfire, and the natural domination of the strong over the weak, including men over women.
3
Adam rejects these doctrines. Elohim sends Peter, James, and John, first hidden as Buffalo, Thunder, and Lightning Spirits, who confirm Adam's faithfulness. Returning openly, they cast Satan out, confer the Aaronic or Levitical Priesthood on Adam, remind Eve of the priesthood received from Heavenly Mother, and introduce the Law of Sacrifice.
