Peter administers the covenant of consecration, asking Adam, Eve, and the congregation to dedicate all they possess and will receive to the Lord, using surplus to relieve the poor and bear one another's burdens. He then conveys the token of the Higher Priesthood, the Sure Sign of the Nail, explaining its reference to Christ's crucifixion wounds and the binding of creation through the Atonement. The three messengers introduce Adam and Eve onto the Way within the Terrestrial World, where their spirits may commune with heavenly beings while their mortal flesh is preserved by the Holy Ghost.

Jehovah appears and directs Peter to teach the Right Order of Prayer, performed in a circle joined by the token, uniting participants in one mind. Jehovah explains that the Veil of Forgetfulness lies within and describes the heavenward and earthward triangles symbolizing mutual revelation. Finally, he outlines the Second Anointing, a washing and anointing performed by husband and wife, by which Christ Himself seals their calling and election.
