THE FIRST BOOK OF MORONI
Chapter 2
Premium narration
1
Moroni addresses unbelievers directly, warning them of the day when the earth dissolves and they must stand before the Lamb. He argues that the guilty would find dwelling with a holy God more agonizing than hell itself, since the brightness of divine purity would ignite their consciousness of filth like unquenchable fire. He pleads that they turn to the Father in Christ's name to be washed clean.
2
Turning to those who reject ongoing revelation, prophecy, tongues, and healings, Moroni grounds miracles in God's unchanging nature, tracing the plan from Adam's fall through Christ's atoning death, universal resurrection, and final judgment where each person remains fixed in their chosen state. Miracles cease only because of human unbelief. He urges worthy baptism and sacrament, firm prayer, and enduring to the end.
3
Closing as one speaking from the dead, he asks readers not to condemn the writers' imperfections in their reformed Egyptian record, but to learn wisdom from them.
