THE FIRST BOOK OF MORONI

Chapter 6
Premium narration
1
Framed as Moroni's commentary drawn from Ether's record, this chapter opens with the prophet Ether preaching ceaselessly under Coriantumr's reign, urging repentance and teaching that faith fulfills all things and anchors the soul toward a place at God's right hand. Moroni then defines faith as hope in things unseen, noting that witness follows the trial of belief. He catalogues faith's fruits: Christ's post-resurrection appearances, the calling of priesthood holders, the law of Moses, the deliverance of Alma and Amulek, the conversion miracles among the Lamanites through Nephi, Lehi, and Ammon, the promise to the three disciples, and the brother of Jared piercing the veil.
2
Moroni confesses anxiety over the Nephites' weakness in writing compared to their power in speech. The Lord answers that weakness is given to produce humility, and that grace makes weak things strong. Moroni petitions for the Gentiles' charity, then bids farewell, testifying he has seen Jesus face to face.
