THE FIRST BOOK OF PA-NAT
Chapter 3
Premium narration
1
In the humbler quarter of the City of Laman — modest but well-kept — a man named Nephihet welcomes Sanhagot into his home, washes and anoints him, clothes him, feeds him, and houses him. Sanhagot blesses the family by the laying on of hands. That evening only twenty-two families gather to hear him.
2
He refutes Wayus's portrayal of his people, explaining that the Nem of the Land Northward prosper because they hold all things in common and have no poor. He describes the City of Mentina, where stewards labor on their own land but freely share the increase, where temple and synagogue are open to all, and where tribulation brings no violence against storehouses. He warns that walls, riches, slavery, and usury cannot shield anyone from the coming convulsions of earth and fire.
3
He preaches the Gospel of Peace: pray to the Father in the Son's name, sustain prophets, care for widows, orphans, and the sick, teach children against worldliness, judge no soul, and seek Christ's face now.
