THE FIRST BOOK OF SHI-TUGO

Chapter 13
Premium narration
1
Shi-Tugo describes the sacred dedicatory practices of the people of Ammon, framing all their ceremonies and ordinances as offerings to the God of Heaven, the God worshipped by Abraham and the ancient fathers. Through these observances the community is bound together and strengthened, and the Lord prospers them both temporally and spiritually. Evidence of this spiritual prosperity is seen in the righteous young Ammonite warriors who marched with the Nephites and were preserved in battle.
2
The chapter then details a household rite of consecration. When a wife dedicates her home, she gathers her family, kindles sacred herbs in a bowl, and lifts the rising incense toward the sacred directions while offering fervent prayer to set the dwelling apart for the Lord's purposes. Husbands perform the same ordinance over shops, fields, tools, and animals.
3
All such dedications are made in the name of the Son, honoring both the Father of Heaven and the Mother of all Living.
