THE SECOND BOOK OF SAMUEL (THE LAMANITE)
Chapter 13
Premium narration
1
Samuel offers his final words to his people, acknowledging that age has overtaken him and that his time to depart has come. He leaves his record as a memorial of his life and labors, expressing confidence that his people walk uprightly, strengthening the weak and obeying all that the Lord commanded when He came among them in power. He praises God and urges his children and people to lift their voices unceasingly to the Lord, declaring that such continual prayer will serve as a standard shining through the darkness, corruption, and obscuring smoke of latter days.

He closes with a series of exhortations: pray without ceasing, keep the covenants associated with the Temple, obey the commandments, cling to truth, verify that truth by communion with the Holy Ghost, walk the covenant path receiving line upon line of revelation, and seek the face of Jesus Christ — with the promise that those who seek Him will find Him.
