THE SECOND BOOK OF SAMUEL (THE LAMANITE)

Chapter 8
Premium narration
1
Samuel recounts how Jesus healed the sick, comforted the sorrowing, and taught ordinances of the gospel, though only a small fraction could be written. He invites future readers to seek cleansing, ordinances, and the baptism of fire so that their calling may be made sure and they may receive ministration from angels and the Lord Himself. Samuel describes being caught up with the disciples into a holy place where their spiritual senses were opened.
2
The bulk of the chapter records a prophecy Jesus commanded Samuel to preserve. In the last days a dispersed Gentile race will carry a portion of His word throughout the world, but their drive and pride will corrupt His servants, distort priesthood into compulsion, persecute righteous women acting under authority, and divide the Church. Jesus promises to call again His beloved apostle John and three Bountiful disciples with power over death to regulate His house.
3
Signs of this regulation include the removal of incense, sacrament displacing living ordinances, and leaders demanding obedience over Spirit. Samuel is told not to judge that generation, for Zion will yet come.
