THE SECOND BOOK OF SHI-TUGO

Chapter 1
Premium narration
1
Four years after the great war, Shi-Tugo grew weary of farming among the people of Ammon, finding that the soil yielded him nothing and that warfare, not husbandry, was his native gift. His kin had joined him in the Ammonite lands, but his discontent was noted, and Shiblon arranged for him to advise the Nephite captains on fortifying their cities against lingering Lamanite hostilities. Drawing on his intimate knowledge of Lamanite tactics and weaponry, he trained commanders and earned his keep.
2
Yet he observed that the Nephites distrusted even covenanted Lamanites, judging the Ammonites harshly by skin and custom, and he longed to leave Zarahemla. Shiblon then introduced him to Hagoth, son of Hagmeni and a renowned shipbuilder organizing migrations northward. Shi-Tugo became Hagoth's counselor in provisioning expeditions and settlements, gaining respect through Hagoth's standing.
3
For seven postwar years he labored in this work, prospered by the Lord.
