Melchizedek
Melchizedek receives the heavenly liturgy — he names the powers, blesses the assembly of the saints, and is sealed for the eternal priesthood.
And again the heavens were opened, and Melchizedek beheld the assembly of the holy ones standing about the throne of the Father.
And he saw the great cloud of glory, and within the cloud the throne, and upon the throne the likeness of a man, and the likeness was as the appearance of fire.
And before the throne were seven lamps burning, which are the seven Spirits of God, and a sea of glass like unto crystal.
And Melchizedek lifted up his voice and cried: Holy art Thou, O Father unbegotten. Holy art Thou, O Self-Begotten Son. Holy art Thou, O Spirit of life.
Holy art Thou, Barbelo, the First Thought of the Father. Holy art Thou, Pigera-Adamas, the heavenly man. Holy art Thou, Seth, the father of the unshakable race.
Holy are the four Luminaries: Harmozel, Oroiael, Daveithai, and Eleleth — pillars of the holy of holies. Holy are the aeons that minister before them, and the angels that gather about their thrones.
Holy is Doxomedon, the dwelling of glory. Holy is the Triple Male Child, the youth that beareth the diadem. Holy is the Lord Jesus Christ, the High Priest of the everlasting covenant.
Glory be unto the Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Spirit, both now and for ever, world without end. Amen.
And the angels answered with a great voice: Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, did Melchizedek hear saying: Blessing and honour and glory and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and ever.
Then there came forth one of the holy ones, and he stood before Melchizedek, and he said: Receive the seal of the Father.
And he sealed Melchizedek upon his brow with the sign of the cross, and upon his hands with the sign of the Lamb, and upon his heart with the sign of the Spirit.
And he gave unto him a white stone, and upon the stone was written a name which no man knoweth save he that receiveth it.
And he said: This is the new name of thy priesthood. By this name shalt thou be known in the courts of glory, when thou comest up before the throne to minister for ever.
And he said: Thou hast been faithful in a few things; thou shalt be made ruler over many things. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.
Then Melchizedek looked, and behold, there were saints with him, even the saints of all the generations who had received his blessing and walked in the order of his priesthood.
And there was Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the prophets of the holy God, and they that had washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
And they sang together a new song, saying: Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood, out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us kings and priests unto our God: and we shall reign on the earth.
And the Lord Jesus stood in the midst of them, and He stretched forth His hand unto Melchizedek, and said: Come up hither, my friend, and inherit the kingdom prepared for thee from the foundation of the world.
And Melchizedek bowed himself before the Lord, and the Lord raised him up, and embraced him, and called him brother.
And the Lord said: Behold, I have given thee the keys of the order which is after Mine own order. Whosoever thou bindest on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whosoever thou loosest on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Go thou therefore, and minister in the city of Salem until thy course be finished. And after thy course, thou shalt come and dwell with Me where I am, and behold the glory which I had with the Father before the world was.
And Melchizedek answered: Thy will be done, O Lord, on earth as it is in heaven. I am Thy servant, and the son of Thine handmaid: Thou hast loosed my bonds.
And the vision was sealed, and Melchizedek was returned unto his own place. And he wrote these things in a book, and hid the book in a sure place, that it might come forth in the appointed time.
And he charged his servants, saying: Keep ye these words. Reveal them not unto the unbelieving, lest they blaspheme the holy mysteries. But teach them unto the children of the covenant, that they may know the way of the High Priest.
For the day cometh when the records of the holy ones shall be brought forth, and the things which were hidden shall be revealed upon the housetops.
And the priesthood of Melchizedek shall be made known again in the latter days, in the dispensation of the fulness of times, when the Lord shall gather together in one all things in Christ — both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in Him.
Therefore, ye that read these words: stand fast in the faith. Hold the form of sound doctrine. Receive the holy ordinances. Be sealed in the order of the Son of God.
And the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will.
Unto Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
