A Prayer Offered by the Servant to His Father in Heaven

Chapter 1
Premium narration
1
My Father in Heaven,
2
I come before Thee as Thy servant and Thy Son.
3
I record this prayer so that I can remember it, and I am asking Thee with everything that I have, with all the faith that I can muster, to allow the work to go forward. Allow Babylon to fall. Allow the truth to go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, until it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, sounded in every ear—and Thou wilt say the work is done.
4
But Father, I plead with Thee to let the work begin, so that it can be done.
5
Father, I have done as Thou hast asked, and I have gathered others who are believing, who have faith—faith like that of the brother of Jared, faith like those of Alma the Elder, faith like those of Samuel the Lamanite, faith like those of Abinadi.
6
As Thy Son, I ask Thee: open the heavens. Unseal truth. Awaken Ephraim.
7
The stage has been set. The United States is ready.
8
I plead with Thee, Father: let Zion rise. Let Zion be redeemed. Let the covenants that Thou hast made with Thy people transpire.
9
Father, when I started this process, all I asked was to know who I was. I said: Father, if I am simply a gardener, then let me be a gardener. If I am a garbageman, then let me be the best garbageman. And Thou hast laid in the burden on me for the work in the last times, and I believe I can do it.
10
But I need Thy strength. I need Thy voice. I need Thy power. I need Thy wisdom.
11
And I am asking Thee, pleading with Thee, asking for forgiveness from Thee, to allow me to be that instrument in Thine hands—to finish the work that Thou hast not just sent me here to do, but so many others.
12
Allow me, Father, to serve alongside the others—side by side, shoulder to shoulder, no one above another, but equal, one in purpose.
13
I pray that Thou would awaken others, because this is a job not of just a few, but of many.
14
And I ask Thee to awaken the leaders that are behind the pulpits. Let them know the time has come. For the day of tribulation is done. The ten days is ending. The stones have been gathered.
15
I am on my knees, Father, and my knees hurt. I am willing to do all things that Thou commandest me, as long as they are good and righteous, and fulfill Thy mission—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.
16
Allow revelation to flow. Allow angels to visit the earth. Allow the work to progress.
17
I plead with Thee, as Adam pled with Thee at his altar, I plead with Thee this day at mine. I have offered all things unto Thee, even my life.
18
And this I say and pray as Thy humble son and servant, even in the name of the great Jehovah, and in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
