Comfort in Divorcement
Comfort in Divorcement
Son let thy faith remain firm and unshaken for it is expedient that thou endure this tribulation.
For it is in mine own purpose that thou art cast into the prison that thou might be humbled before me.
That thy sufferings shalt make thee strong and thy faith might be tested.
Moreover I speak unto thee if thou wilt covenant with me and dedicate thy life unto me behold I shall restore all things unto thee.
Verily I say unto thee a restoration of all things which are temporal and spiritual.
Oh my son remember that all these things are for thy experience and for they good.
Be of good courage, be thankful unto the Lord thy God, for thine afflictions and for thine adversities. For behold there are many which do curse the Lord thy God, and because of this their reward is lost.
And now my Son, yea, even I do know thy pain and hath endured much tribulation. I do know of and understand thy suffering.
For I am with thee, and if thou wilt call upon mine name, there shall I be also, for thou art my son, and verily I say we are One. For behold fear not what man can do for I am with thee forever and ever.
Now notwithstanding this great tragedy that doth beset thee know this my son, the plan in which I have in store for thee is great and marvelous and it is in my wisdom and for thy good that I have caused thy wife to separate from thee for a little season.
For a blessing I bestow upon thee, that if thou wilt remain faithful unto me, I will perform miracles and great works in thy life.
For thus saith the Lord it is my will that I allow my children to suffer hardships, and if my children shall recognize that it is my doing and remain grateful and humble, recognizing my hand, then shall I reward them from on high, yea, even shall I exalt them.
For I the Lord know exactly the things my children stand in need of.
Behold all things from happiness to suffering are from mine hand.
My son thou hast understood this and thou art grateful even in times of sorrow.
For behold thou art one of the few that hath understood this. For thou hast not asked me why, but thou hast asked me for strength to overcome this affliction which doth beset thee.
Now my son I say unto thee, I am with thee, and strength I shall bestow upon thee.
For I know thy heart and it is pure. For thy tears are also my tears.
I shalt console thee in this time and I shall lift thee up for I have reserved great blessings unto thee in this life for thou hast lost thy life for my sake.
My son cry unto me unceasingly and I will comfort thee.
For I hath endowed mine powers unto thee. Thou has heard my voice and hath harkened unto my commands.
Remember I did tell thee thy family would reject thee yea even thine own wife. And again thou didst prophesy unto thy wife on the road to Manti that these great and mighty tribulations were coming, but behold she remembered not.
For a warning I did reveal unto thee so that thou mightest be prepared.
My son, find ye, therefore, comfort in my bosom, for as long as thou remains faithful, I will continue to reveal myself unto thee.
A promise I give into thee, that if thou art obedient unto my voice, I will move mountains and bestow great blessings unto thee.
For thou hast shown that no matter what tribulation doth beset thee, thy faith increases and thy determination strengthens.
For no men other than mine servant Job hath accepted each trial with a grateful heart such as I have seen thee do.
For this cause have I called thee to be a leader unto this people, and to prepare the way for my coming.
Thou art my son, for I Hath begotten thee, and I shall surely visit thee as oft as seemeth me good.
Wipe thy tears from thy face, and know all is well, and all will be right in the due time that I the Lord hath determined.
Let thy bowels be moved with compassion towards all man.
If thou wilt do this I shall surely bless thee.
Remember all these things are for thy experience. For thou hast chosen these things and it is necessary that ye go through this that I may refine thee.
For thou must be tried, then shalt thy foundation be firm and unmovable.
Let thy mind be at peace for all things shall work for thy good.
Therefore, as I told my servant, even the prophet of the restoration, hold on thy way and the priesthood shall remain with thee.
Thy days are known and thy years shall not be numbered less fear not what man can do for God shall be with thee forever and ever, amen.
