Dedicatory Prayer at the Temple Lot, Independence, Missouri
The servants dedicate and consecrate the Temple Lot in Independence, walking and measuring the ground under the authority of the Holy Order of the Melchizedek Priesthood, which is after the Order of the Son of the Only Begotten of the Father — the Father-of-the-Father pattern named in the invocation. This is not metaphor: it is the marking of a literal covenant place against a literal Zion prophesied for many years, now nearing its appointed day. The measuring recalls the surveying of holy ground; the season is invoked. They face east, looking for the coming of the Father, Jesus Christ, and pray as His sons, signing the prayer in His name — the covenant name taken upon themselves.

By the authority and power of the Holy Order of the Melchizedek Priesthood, we dedicate and consecrate this piece of land which we have walked and measured.

And we leave our blessing here. We leave the energy of our spirit here, that it might be blessed and set aside for a future day — one that is coming soon, and one that will fulfill prophecy which has been foretold for many years.

We pray Thou wouldest accept this blessing, this dedication, and this consecration on this day, September 26th, 2025.

As we face east and look forward to the coming of our Father, Jesus Christ, we do this as Thy sons, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
