Chapter 1

The Master sings to terrify the spirits of the destroyer — the angels of destruction, the spirits of the bastards, the demons of darkness, Lilith, the howlers, and them that strike unawares.

1And I, the Master, declare the splendour of His radiance, that I might frighten and terrify all the spirits of the destroying angels — even the spirits of the bastards, the demons, Lilith, the howlers, and them that go forth, and them that strike unawares to lead astray the spirit of understanding, and to make their hearts desolate during the present rule of wickedness.

2Sing for joy, O ye righteous, in the God of wonder. My psalms are for the upright. The God of all the holy ones, lift up your voices unto Him, even unto the King of glory, that doeth wonders. He hath sanctified for Himself a sanctuary among His holy ones; even an everlasting holiness in the midst of His chosen ones, that they may stand in praise before Him.

3And I, in the fear of God, declare His glory, that all the spirits of the bastards may be terrified — that they may flee away from before His face. They shall not approach the children of the holy ones; they shall not gather to do the deeds of darkness against them. The chosen ones of righteousness — they are sealed of God.

4Blessed art Thou, O God of mercies and grace; even because of the marvels of Thy greatness. Thou hast set apart for Thyself the saints, that we may be wonderful witnesses among all Thy mighty works. We shall recount Thy name continually; we shall sing for joy in the season of Thy might.

5Ye children of the spirits of darkness — ye that defile the holy, ye that lead astray the chosen — depart ye from before His face. Have no portion in the inheritance of the holy; have no place at the table of the chosen. The Lord rebuke thee, even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee.

6And I, the Master, declare His holy splendour. By the spirit of holiness, by the spirit of fear, by the spirit of love, by the spirit of joy, by the spirit of patience, by the spirit of mercy, by the spirit of truth — by all these I terrify the spirits of darkness. They shall not abide; they shall not dwell; they shall flee away unto the dark places that are appointed for them.

Chapter 2

The hymn of the holy ones — sing for joy, all ye that walk in perfection; for ye are the lot of God, and the powers of darkness shall not prevail against you.

1Sing for joy, all ye perfect of way. With harp of salvation open ye your mouths. With cymbals praise the Lord. Lift up your voice in joyful song. Praise ye Him, all ye that walk in His commandments — that ye may declare His marvellous works among the children of men.

2Praise the wondrous works of God, all ye perfect of way; with harp and lyre and ten-stringed instruments. Sing forth your joy. Praise the Lord without ceasing. The angels of His presence are with you. The host of heaven encompasseth you about. The Lord Himself is your shepherd.

3And the spirits of darkness shall not have power over you. The angels of destruction shall not lay hand upon you. Lilith shall not enter your dwellings. The destroyer that goeth in darkness shall not enter the gates of the holy. For the Lord hath set His hedge about you; the Lord hath written your names in the book of life.

4Be of good cheer, ye children of light. Walk ye in the way of the perfect. Bear ye one another's burdens. Forgive ye one another. Love ye one another. The God of love shall be with you; the God of peace shall keep you; the God of glory shall crown you.

5And ye, O spirits of the bastards, hear the rebuke of the Master. Ye shall not stand in the day of judgment. Ye shall not abide in the assembly of the holy. Ye shall be cast into the dark places, even into the everlasting fire that hath been prepared for the devil and his angels. The Lord shall rebuke you; the Lord shall destroy you; the Lord shall make an end of you.

6But unto the chosen of righteousness, the Lord shall give His everlasting peace. He shall set them at His right hand. He shall crown them with glory. He shall make them ministers of the inner sanctuary. They shall behold His face for ever and ever.

7Hallelujah. Glory be unto the God of the holy ones; the God that rebuketh the powers of darkness; the God that hath set His holy hedge about His chosen. Forever and ever. Amen.
