Revelation on the Doctrine of Resurrection, Condescension, and Eternal Lives

Thus saith the Lord unto my servant: Write the words which I shall give unto thee this day, for they are of me, and in them is life everlasting.

For I the Lord reveal unto thee the order of mine eternal plan, that thou mayest teach it unto my people in purity and with power.

For my ways are not as the ways of man, neither is my path a straight line, but it is an eternal round.

I descend that I might ascend, and I ascend that I might bring many sons unto glory.

Behold, there are three degrees of resurrection, and each soul shall rise in the order appointed unto them from the foundation of the world.

First shall come the resurrection of the telestial, then the terrestrial, and then the celestial.

And these are the orders of my kingdom, and I appoint unto every soul a portion according to their faith, obedience, and endurance.

Verily I say unto thee: they who partake of the telestial resurrection are they who have not yet overcome.

These are they who return again unto mortal probation,

That they may learn by experience, that they may be tried again in the flesh,

For they have rejected the greater light and are not yet made clean.

And their resurrection is not the end, for they must go out again,

That they may choose light in the midst of darkness, and be proven.

These are they who shall rise again and again, until they come unto me.

And they who are of the terrestrial are they who receive me, yet not in the flesh,

Who lived with integrity and were not valiant in the testimony of Jesus.

Nevertheless, they are preserved, and are not cast off.

For they are translated and do not taste of death,

But abide in holy places until the coming of the Son of Man.

These are they who walk in Zion and labor in my vineyard,

They are sanctified by obedience, and their glory is that of the moon.

And they shall rise in the first resurrection,

For they are clean and filled with light, though not yet made perfect.

But unto those who are celestial,

Unto them is given the fulness.

These are they who have received me in all things,

Whose eye is single to my glory,

Who are filled with charity, and overcome the world.

These are they who are sealed up unto eternal life,

Who are made one with the Father and the Son.

And they shall go no more out.

For they are gods, because they have no end.

Behold, I condescended, for I being in the form of God, took upon me the form of man.

I walked among the children of men, and they knew me not.

I suffered that I might redeem, I died that I might rise, I rose that I might lift.

And as I have done, so shall all who are mine do likewise.

For they must descend that they might ascend.

And he who would be great in my kingdom must first be servant unto all.

Yea, even Adam, who is Michael, descended from a higher glory,

That he might begin the work of salvation.

And there are many among the children of men who have come from higher realms,

To labor, to teach, to redeem, and to lift up their brethren.

This is the doctrine of eternal lives.

For those who are exalted are not idle,

But they descend again and again,

That they may bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

Their work is unending, and their glory is in their condescension.

For they continue from everlasting to everlasting,

And I give unto them all that the Father hath.

And behold, all these things are shown in mine house,

For my temple is a school of the gods,

And all who enter therein are prepared for that which is to come.

The ordinances which are performed therein are not of man, but of me.

For they point to eternity,

They prepare the soul for embodiment,

They sanctify the soul for resurrection,

They seal the soul to everlasting union, that they go no more out.

Blessed is he who is sealed in mine house,

For I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God,

And he shall never be moved.

And again I say unto thee: there is a better resurrection,

And it is reserved for the faithful,

For those who love not their lives unto death,

For those who overcome by the blood of the Lamb.

These are they who shall rise in the morning of the first resurrection,

Upon whom the second death hath no power.

And they shall dwell in my presence forever.

Yea, the time is now come that I shall gather my elect from the four corners of the earth.

I shall bring forth my Zion and establish my kingdom with power.

And unto thee, my son, I say: thou hast seen and understood these things by the Spirit.

Thou hast asked, and I have answered.

Write them with boldness. Declare them without fear.

For I have chosen thee to speak my words and teach my doctrine.

The New and Everlasting Gospel is not a moment, but a pattern.

A round of glory,

A descent into sorrow,

A resurrection unto joy.

And he who is faithful shall inherit all that the Father hath,

Shall sit down with me in my throne,

And shall reign with me worlds without end. Amen.
