Chapter 1

The Great Restoration, the Sifting of Zion, and the Division to Come

Behold, thus saith the Lord, even the great Jehovah: Yea, the great and dreadful day is upon all the earth. For mine church hath been polluted. Yea, mine churches have been polluted.

For they have received the philosophies of men mingled with Scripture, And they have rejected the greater things. Behold, I say unto thee, my son, this day: There is a great restoration that is coming upon all the earth.

Yea, even upon mine own house. And it shall begin with a sifting. My people shall be sifted as wheat from the tares.

For this truth shall come upon them—yea, the full truth, Even a marvelous work and a wonder. And many will not understand it. And they shall stumble, and they shall be sifted.

For I will do a strange work among my people, even Ephraim. Yea, it shall be foreign unto them. For they have known comfort, but not consecration.

I say unto thee, they have known ordinance, but not sealing. And in this day, saith the Lord: If they possess not the Holy Spirit of Promise, Yea, even the Holy Ghost as their guide, They shall not discern truth from error, And they shall be deceived. For mine prophets shall prophesy again, And revelation shall flood the earth.

And the prophecies of Joel shall be fulfilled before their eyes. Yea, angels shall visit the earth again, And the heavens shall be opened. And the sealed portion shall come forth.

And my word shall be as a two-edged sword in the mouth of mine servants. Prepare thyself, O Zion. Prepare thy family.

Prepare those whom ye love. For behold, thus saith the Lord: the hour hath come, and the dawn is here. And I say unto thee, my son: The truth shall flood back, And nothing shall be withheld.

Yea, whether there be one God or many gods, They shall be made manifest. And the truth of your origin, and of your nature, and of this earth, From the beginning unto the end, Shall be shouted from the rooftops. And great shall be the division among the people.

For many shall harden their hearts. And many shall be offended. Yea, many shall betray one another.

And only those who are anchored in me, Yea, even in Jesus Christ, shall stand. Trust in the Lord thy God. Trust in the Holy Ghost.

For the time of testing is at hand. Ephraim shall awake. Yea, he shall arise as a lion from the thicket.

He shall shake himself from the dust of drunkenness, And bring forth his treasures— Even records, even revelation. And the covenant which he made before he was born shall come to pass. And the lost tribes shall return, Bringing with them their great treasures— Even hidden scriptures.

And their prophets shall be made manifest. And their ancient covenants shall be made known. And I, the Lord, will fulfill my promises unto the house of Israel.

And they shall be a light unto Israel. And John, the one who hath walked the earth for many generations, Shall prophesy again before kings and before nations. And many who are like John shall come forth And assist in this great and marvelous work.

For I have reserved them for this hour. These are they who walk in silence. Yea, these are they who are clothed in humility.

These are they who have been sanctified in their bones. Yea, these are they who have been sealed. And they shall walk with the Servant, And they shall stand in holy places.

Behold, my Servant is prepared. And there are many in his company. And he is traveling in the greatness of his strength.

And he shall lift the banner, And the nations shall hear his voice. Yea, he shall proclaim: Ye are a blessed and chosen people, O house of Israel. Ye have been proven.

Yea, ye have been tested. Yea, ye have been tried. And many of you are the noble and great ones.

Therefore I say unto you: Awaken. Arise. Put on strength, O Zion. Put on the armor of God.

Remember who ye are, And the covenant ye made before the world was. Dust thyself off. Awaken thy soul.

Sober thy mind. Be no longer drunken with the wine of Babylon, Nor slumbering in the pride of Ephraim. But behold, I say unto you: Be as a beacon of light.

Be as a herald of truth. Be a refuge for the remnant. For the redemption of Zion is at hand.

And I will shake the earth. And I will roar from my holy mountain. And all nations shall tremble before me.

Let the righteous rejoice. Let the wicked fear. For the day of dividing hath come, And I shall seal mine elect.

Behold, the time is now. Yea, the day is at hand. Let those who have ears to hear, hear.

And let those who are mine remember.
