• How do I create an account?

  Open SEER and tap "Create Account" on the welcome screen. Enter your email, choose a password, pick a display name, and confirm your year of birth. Your account is created instantly.

• Can I use SEER without an account?

  SEER requires an account to save your bookmarks, notes, and highlights and to use ABEL. Account creation is free and takes about 30 seconds.

• How do I sync my study data to a new device?

  Sign in with the same email and password on your new device. Your bookmarks, highlights, notes, and tags will sync automatically over Wi-Fi or cellular within a few seconds.

• What is ABEL?

  ABEL is SEER’s AI scripture study companion. Ask it any doctrinal question, request cross-references, or explore the meaning of a passage. ABEL retrieves relevant scripture passages and answers in the voice of restored-gospel theology — not a generic chatbot. Explorer (free) gets 2 lifetime counsels to try it out — answered on our most capable model. Seeker gets 7 counsels per week; Gatherer gets 20 counsels per week.

• What is the Hebrew & Greek lookup?

  Tap any verse in any chapter and toggle Lexicon mode. Words with Strong’s-numbered roots become tappable — tap one to see its original Hebrew or Greek with transliteration, pronunciation, and definition. In Isaiah, the Hear-It button reads the original Hebrew aloud.

• How does the audio narration work?

  Tap "Listen" on any chapter to start studio-grade narration powered by ElevenLabs. As the audio plays, a karaoke-style highlight follows the words on screen. Audio is cached on your device after first play, so you can re-listen offline. Explorer tier can preview narration on 1 Nephi 1 and John 1; Seeker unlocks all Standard Works; Gatherer unlocks every canon.

• How do I turn off push notifications?

  Go to Account (the person icon in the tab bar) → Settings → Push Notifications and toggle it off. Push notifications are off by default — you only receive them if you opted in.

• What's the difference between Seeker and Gatherer?

  Seeker ($5.99/mo or $59.99/yr) unlocks the Standard Works for audio narration, gives you 7 ABEL counsels per week, and grants access to the Lesson Generator. Gatherer ($11.99/mo, $119.99/yr, or $129.99 lifetime) unlocks every canon — Apocrypha, Dead Sea Scrolls, Book of the Remnant, Nag Hammadi, and the rest — plus 20 ABEL counsels per week, the Book of Remembrance, Patriarchal Blessing tools, Dream Records, Custom Canon Import, full SEER Circle access, and unlimited Lesson Generator use.

• How do I cancel my subscription?

  It depends on where you subscribed. iOS (App Store):open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → find SEER → Cancel Subscription. Web: open Settings → Subscription and tap Manage or cancel subscription — it takes you directly to your billing portal. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.

• How do I get a refund?

  We offer a refund within 7 days of a charge if SEER isn’t the right fit. Free trials are the exception — once a trial converts to a paid charge it’s non-refundable; cancel any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Web purchases: use the refund request form and we’ll review it personally — you’ll get an email once it’s processed. iOS purchases are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

• How do I delete my account?

  Go to Account → scroll to the bottom → tap Delete Account. You’ll be asked to confirm twice. This permanently removes your profile, notes, highlights, tags, Circle posts, and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.

• I imported from Gospel Library but some highlights are missing. What happened?

  The Gospel Library export format occasionally omits highlights created before a certain app version. SEER imports everything it finds in your export file. If specific highlights are missing, they were likely absent from the export itself. Re-export from the Gospel Library app and try again.

• The app crashed or a feature isn't working. What do I do?

  Force-close and reopen the app first — most issues resolve on a fresh launch. If the problem continues, email us with your device model, iOS version, and a description of what happened. We respond within 24 hours.

• How do I join the SEER Circle community?

  Circle access is included with a Gatherer subscription. Once you have an active Gatherer subscription, sign in at seerscriptures.com/circle and complete the short onboarding flow to set your handle and profile. If you received an invite link, following it will take you directly to sign-up with your invite pre-attached.
